An eye for design is refined and honed over time, and I see just that over the years. Every layout, color choice and interaction needs to be selected to create a unifying piece that will make people swoon.

For this piece I was told by my client to introduce the ingredients of the product into the visuals. Needless to say they were quite happy with the results.
Every ingredient selected for this piece was thoughtfully chosen to create a balanced composition with the client’s blue spa colour theme.

This piece of work was made based on inspiration from a popular video game (haha yes I play!) The primary focus of this work was to promote a chinese cultural event while also implementing the fall theme.
To balance the two I decided I would put the content within a leaf with a mask and create a kind of “rift” style work.
The result of my choice? An instagram post that screamed artsy vibes while staying true to culture and promoting the fall aesthetic.

Yet another post to promote a chinese event. This time the focus was to show people that we had a mahjong event coming up.
Obviously you can see that I needed to implement several different aspects of the event such as the mahjong (obviously), paint and drawing as well.
The ability to convey the core themes of what you are promoting while keeping things pretty is in my opinion the biggest challenge! A challenge that I happily take on to grow myself as an individual.
HOW DO I DO IT?
I like to slow things down before I speed them up. I start by figuring out what the design needs to say, who it’s talking to, and how someone should experience it. I visualize, move pieces around, and think through the flow before committing to anything.
Once that makes sense, the visuals come together naturally. Layouts are built with intention, details are refined as I go, and nothing is there “just because.” It’s a mix of planning and instinct!
This part feels a bit like organizing chaos into something that just clicks
